Laboratory Mills & Milling Jars
Used primarily for sample prep prior to analysis, laboratory mills use particle size reduction to grind or homogenize both wet and dry materials. These laboratory mills are manufactured for numerous scientific applications including pharmaceuticals, chemistry, materials testing and food analysis.
Laboratory ball mills are scaled-down ball mills that use milling jars that are filled with grinding media and rotated using a jar rolling mill to reduce the particle size of the material. While they are commonly used for small size applications, options are available that can also be used for larger production opportunities.
Our single or multi-tiered long roll jar mill models feature space saving designs with 36, 48 or 72 inch long rollers
We offer three different unitized jar models, all with three position roller adjustments and totally enclosed DC drive motors
Four durable milling jar options are available: Roalox alumina-fortified, High alumina, Unlined stainless steel and Lined steel
